Gettliffe Architecture, based in Boulder, Colorado, designs sustainable structures that enhance the lives of the people for whom the projects are created. Rooted in the French zest for life known as "joie de vivre," our mission is to collaborate with our clients in creating artfully designed structures that increase the users’ enjoyment of life within a context of social and ecological responsibility. Informed by the French-European background of principal architect Dominique Gettliffe, our process and work are shaped by the perspective that life is to be enjoyed and lived in a manner that brings joy and that respects and protects the natural environment. The result of our approach is more than two decades of designs that lift, inspire and connect people to nature. In creating structures that increase the users’ enjoyment of life, we prioritize social and ecological responsibility. Our architectural skills are complemented by the construction expertise gained from 10 years of managing the construction of projects we have designed.
