Candidates are expected to have demonstrated experience in applying VE concepts to Department of Defense and commercial projects. Responsibilities include front-end engineering studies to incorporate innovative concepts and eliminate unnecessary functional requirements or constraints; identifying “high cost – low value” items where value improvements can be accomplished; validation and optimization of engineering change proposals; construction documents review; and identification and reduction of life-cycle costs by generating creative changes for feasible solutions. Positions require 5-8 years experience, with a minimum of 3 years experience as a Certified VE. Successful candidates will have good written and oral communication skills.
